Summary

This research centered on the results of dolomite powder on the properties of C30 and C50 concretes. The microstructure, splitting tensile power, compressive power and fracture toughness property of concretes incorporating dolomite powder had been measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP), stress testing machine and common testing machine. Greater splitting tensile power, compressive power and fracture toughness of concretes might be seen with the rise of dolomite powder dosage inside 90 days. After 1 day of curing, splitting tensile power, compressive power and fracture toughness of C30 and C50 concretes might be improved significantly. The constructive results of dolomite powder on the splitting tensile power, compressive power and fracture toughness decreased with the rise of curing age. As a result of the nucleation impact, micro-filler impact and blend proportions design of dolomite powder had been helpful to the refinement of pore construction of concretes, and dolomite powder had much less affect on the later stage of cement hydration. The splitting tensile power equations expressed when it comes to the compressive power was proposed. The evaluation of regression equation proved that the equation of relationship between compressive power and splitting tensile power of concretes containing dolomite powder on this research had excessive prediction accuracy.
